Weather Tourettes

What's your favourite season?

If you live in Britain we only two seasons realistically and that is split into summer and winter with a generous three weeks of glorious summer weather and the rest is winter.

The forecast contains rain, rain, rain some light snow which turns into slush the minute it hits the floor then constant rain for the next six months.

You may have guessed that I am that average British woman who complains about the weather as if anyone can help it, complaining about the weather is in our British blood too. It's as if we just can't help it.

I've noticed that we all have a strong case of 'Weather Tourettes'
If you visit you will notice weather tourettes consists of: 'Its raining cats and dogs outside its just unbelievable'

'Im drenched this god damn weather has ruined my hair'
'This is just ridiculous how cold it is'
'I've had enough of these dark nights they just get you down' etc etc.

However, these are only the light-hearted complaining comments we make as a lot more would start with More F's and B's.

My favourite season has obviously got to be the summer. It's the season where I rejuvenate. Excitement and energy seem to come out of nowhere and lets not even go into my fashion. This just takes a huge leap into colour, pattern, and lack of layers thankfully. No more Michelin man in my huge coats instead pass over the maxi dress, sandals, and sunglasses.

Everyone seems to just smile more, be more active and friendly, bring on summer. However, there are always people who like to be a little opposite and end up hating summer.
Let's just say I hear this a lot 'It's too hot'. I'm going, to be honest, I nearly back slap these people.
With only three weeks of summer too hot is a gift for us.

The people who complain that they are too hot, I can bet you (a penny as I don't bet that can be another blog) that they are the ones who complain they are too cold in the winter.

This everyone is when someone is so British that they complain about all types of weather, this is a very severe case of weather Tourettes be warned the complaining is all year round.
