Comfortable with a capital C
Where are you most comfortable?
The place where your body is almost at a climax of relaxation. Where you can be yourself, your mask is completely and nowhere to be seen.
I would say there are two places where I feel most comfortable and if you put them both together then you've just created my virtual heaven.
My bed and having my cat on my lap purring, these might seem so basic and boring but sometimes simplicity is the best.
Once you over-complicate your ways to relax then are your even relaxing.
It's taken me a long time to get to grips that relaxing is ok. I went through a period where relaxing was almost a bad thing to do and I still argue with myself that relaxing is fine.
I used to sit down and think that I was almost on Big Brother and someone was watching me thinking 'you can't sit down you need to do this..... and this.... your so lazy sitting down.... your missing out on this.....'
I still have these thoughts but now I fight them back with. 'Im not missing out', 'Im taking some ME time' and 'If I don't relax then I won't appreciate.....'
When I relax I'm not always in my most comfortable place as I can't take my bed and cat everywhere with me otherwise then I really wouldn't get much done and would miss out on many events.
I love my bed and cat that much that I'm sure if anyone saw how I looked at these two things they would think I'm almost controlled by them.
Bedtime is my favourite part of the day that I am that person who can't wait to just go to bed and forget everything till the next day. You will catch me in bed Monday to Friday at 10 pm at latest to get all the well needed hours of sleep and pure happiness into detox my body fro the stress of the day I just had.
When I'm ill or feeling under the weather getting laying my head on my pillows and tucking my body under my duvet just automatically makes me feel so much better and safer. The fluffy cushions and duvet just smothering my problems away.
Then there is my cat. I am pretty much a crazy cat lady so my cat will need its own entire blog just for himself. I can cope with never seeing humans again but animals are just something so much more extra and perfect that without them I don't know how we could all be sane but then again I am very biased when it comes to this.
All in all, take some time to think where you feel most comfortable and appreciate every moment being in that pure comfortable heavenly stare and even when times seem a little strange take yourself to that place just for a moment to realise everything is ok.
